Is there anyone out there that has taken Lexapro and it made them feel worse than before you were taking it? I’ve been on it for 6 days now and since Thursday I have felt awful. Thursday I was so jittery and felt like I wanted to jump out of my skin. My heart was pounding but when I went to the clinic at our school, my heart rate and bp were fine. I’ve struggled with being shaky, dizzy, horrible headaches since then. My question is could this be the Lexapro? The only other thing I did this past week that was different was to get a flu shot on Wednesday afternoon. I understand that it could make me have some slight flu-like symptoms, but what I have been feeling is not flu-like. Can allergies do this to you? The mold spores are very high right now and that is one thing I am allergic to…I take allergy shots for that, though. Anyone have any ideas? I am not wanting to take the Lexapro if this is how it is going to make me feel.

I was on it a little over 2 years. My problem was getting off. I quit using it last December – does that answer any questions you might have about me the last few months? I don’t want to go into it in a public forum. You can email me. When I was on it life was Wonderful!
